They knew firsthand the unique business challenges of a flooring retailer. They knew the problems the computer program should solve and the needs it should fill. They knew that any program, no matter how beneficial, would never be used by store personnel unless it was SIMPLE and quickly UNDERSTANDABLE. They knew how desperately instant, accurate information was needed. And finally, they knew the program had to be affordable. QFloors was created on these principles. QFloors developer Chad Ogden has 11 years of hardware and software development under his belt. He was previously the Director of Engineering at Sensar Corporation, a manufacturer of high-tech mass spectrometers. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering, and a wealth of knowledge and experience in both programming and engineering. However, his background is not limited only to computers. Prior to turning his focus on computer engineering, Chad worked at various jobs within the carpet industry. Few people have a longer history in the flooring industry than Steve Ogden. Growing up, he worked alongside his father in a family-owned carpet store in California. He has owned his own string of carpet stores for over 25 years. There are currently 16 Ogden's Carpet franchises throughout the Intermountain West. Steve's vast wealth of experience translates into an inherent, accurate understanding of what owners and managers need in flooring software. Trent Ogden also brings years of valuable experience in the carpet business. He looks at things from a financial perspective, having spent much of his time as accountant and controller for Ogden's Carpet Outlet stores. Trent has an MBA and a BS in Accounting. In his work, Trent has used many different carpet software programs, thus bringing to the table a strong knowledge of what works and doesn't work for carpet software. This unique melding of ideas and expertise has made it possible to produce QFloors- the simplest, most effective flooring software available.
