Travis Software Corp. was founded in June, 1986, shortly after the enactment of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) which mandated group health continuation for the first time and created the market opportunity for the Company's first product, the DOS-based Corporate Cobra Manager software system. After Corporate Cobra Manager's early success, we expanded our product offerings, releasing TravisFlex in 1987 and the Retiree Premium Billing System in 1989. Over 4,000 employers, TPA's and benefit administrators have installed these three systems (and their Windows-based successors) to aid them in administering the employee benefits offered to employees, retirees and dependents. Travis provides support on each of the systems, and we've updated each of our systems over the years, keeping up with new and changing Federal and State benefit laws and regulations and adding features suggested by customers. The Company also has an aggressive development program for new products, such as the systems released to meet the new Federal HIPAA law in 1997, 32-bit and client-server versions of its existing products and new products designed to meet additional benefit administration needs of new and existing customers.
