Description
Looking for reliable software development services? Get in touch with Amherst Systems Inc.! We’re eager to bring your ideas to life.
Amherst Systems manufactures simulation and measurement products for use in testing/evaluating electronic warfare (EW) systems and training system operators. The CEESIM and AMES simulators provide signal environment stimulus for EW sensors, and the RISS and REPS products are used to stimulate infrared and radar equipment respectively. The SMS performs real-time and post-test measurement and analysis of radar and ECM signals. The EGA, a suite of software models, is used to generate and analyze complex signal environments. The TEEVAL, a combination of real-time models and executive control software, produces multispectral, closed-loop/reactive stimulus for hardware- and operator-in-the-loop test and training. Our machine-vision group supplies optical systems based on foveal principles for use in object detection/acquisition, identification, and tracking. All products can be configured for operation in laboratories, chambers, and ranges. Amherst Systems also offers systems engineering services to integrate its own products with those of other suppliers, providing complete turnkey solutions to customers' test and training needs. We pioneered the use of multi-sensor, closed-loop stimulus to support electronic combat (EC) hardware and operator-in-the-loop test and training applications. This provides the ability to develop and evaluate EC systems and the tactics used to operate them in realistic, mission-type environments. We also supply the modeling and real-time control software required for tactics and equipment evaluation. To further support the evaluative mission, we produce systems that measure the reactivity of EW and radar systems for static, dynamic, and closed-loop test and training processes. Our machine vision group has researched and developed products that emulate the sophisticated foveal processes of biological vision. These optical and infrared sensor systems have registered impressive performance in resolution and throughput. Amherst Systems was founded in 1975. Our corporate headquarters in Buffalo, New York, comprises 75,000 square feet of engineering offices, test and integration labs, and modern manufacturing facilities. We have offices in five additional U.S. locations and agents representing us in approximately 20 countries worldwide.
